Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Hakon Invest has established a formal work plan with instructions relating to the division of responsibility between the Board of Directors and the President as well as appointed working committees.
The responsibility of the Board of Directors is, on behalf of the owners, to manage the affairs of the Company in such a way that the owners’ interests in a long-term good capital return are met in the best possible manner. The Board of Directors is also responsible for the Company’s organization and management of its affairs, as well as monitoring the work of the President.
Hakon Invest's Board has set up three working committees: the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Investment Committee.
According to the Articles of Association, Hakon Invest's Board shall consist of between five and nine members. The present Board consists of seven members. In addition to a statutory Board meeting in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting, the Board shall hold at least five meetings a year that are announced in advance.
